snickerdoodle cookies
these cookies are one of the BEST cookies i've ever made and i literally hate cinnamon. they have a nice nostalgic flavor and instantly melts in your mouth. they are mildly crispy on top with the crackly sugar coating and a soft, chewy center.
ingredients:
- 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 cup unsalted, softened butter
- 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
for rolling:
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon

- 1. add your flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar into a bowl. whisk together the dry ingredients.
- 2. in seperate bowl, combine your softened butter, sugar, light brown sugar, large eggs, and vanilla with a stand mixer
- 3. fold in your dry ingredients into the wet ingredients with a spatula until it forms a soft dough
- 4. in a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon. create cookie dough balls and roll your dough balls into the sugar and cinnamon mixture until the dough is fully covered
- 5. preheat your oven to 350° and bake for 9 minutes. always slightly under bake your snickerdoodles. when your snickerdoodles are done baking, take them out of the oven. squish down the cookies a little for a flatter cookie. you'll get a crackly top if you do so. grab a round cookie cutter or cup and make a circular motion around each cookie. let the cookies cool for about 10 minutes on the baking sheet before putting them on a cooling rack.
- 6. once the cookies are cool for another 15 minutes, drizzle some white chocolate on top of the cookies. ENJOY!
